Peter Koppelman started working as a mortgage broker in 2003 after spending over 15 years working in technology at various investment banks.

With his background in risk management and fixed income securities, Peter has a very analytical approach to obtaining a mortgage. "I believe that obtaining a mortgage is not just a transaction", he explains. "It's one of the most important events in a client's life."

Peter believes that a mortgage broker should be as much a financial advisor as anything else to a client. "He should be looking out for the long-term financial health and well-being of a client, not just the commission from a single transaction."
